A simple promise :
Anchoring your wrist

What is a SteadyGroover ?

A SteadyGroover is a guitar accessory.
It’s designed to anchor your wrist to your guitar.

What is anchoring ?

Every guitarist practices anchoring.
Anchoring is touching a part of your guitar to have a reference point.
With little practices, anchoring allow your body to “know” the exact place of the strings in relation to your hand.

Why a SteadyGroover is so useful ?

Elbow anchoring on guitar

Elbow anchoring

Far from your fingers

The anchor is far from your fingertips.
It’s hard for your body to blindly “know” where the strings are.

Finger anchoring on guitar

Finger or palm anchoring

Fatigue and lack of freedom

Your hand is not free. You might improve yourself setting your hand free.
Furthermore, it is not a natural posture. This can eventually cause pain and inflammatory lesions.

Accuracy and performance

It takes the best of all previous techniques without disadvantage.
Your anchoring is close to your fingers. You gain a huge accuracy.
The position of your arm is natural. You can have more technical play without pain.
Your hand is free, not hindered by the anchoring of your palm or your finger.

Don’t get us wrong :

You can be an excellent guitarist without using a SteadyGroover,
a tuner or a capo !

But it will definitely help you to go to the next level.

What is a SteadyGroover ?

A SteadyGroover is a guitar accessory.
It allows guitarists to anchor their right wrist to the guitar.

I am a left handed guitarist can I have a SteadyGroover ?

We are very sorry but not for the moment. We will work on it to make a left handed SteadyGroover as soon as possible.

How do I stick it to my guitar ?

A SteadyGroover comes with two suction cups. You just have to press them onto your guitar and it will stick.

Does it sticks on a guitar with damaged or open pores varnish ?

No. If the varnish of your guitar is damaged under the suction cups it will not stick. Before buying a SteadyGroover make sure you varnish is not damaged.

Does it stick on a guitar with matt varnish ?

It will stick enough on most guitars with matt varnish. It means it will stick for a couple of hours before you will have to press it down again. In most cases it’s more than enough. If you want it to stay longer on your guitar you will find two stickers on the box. You can stick them on your guitar and then put the suction cups on.

If your guitar has a shining varnish it will perfectly stick.

Will a SteadyGroover help me to play finger style or picking ?

Yes ! Definitely. SteadyGroover is very useful for finger style and picking.

Will a SteadyGroover help me if I use a pick ?

It will help you if you are used to play anchoring a finger or your palm or for flatpicking. With a SteadyGroover you will anchor your wrist. The goal is to not anchor your finger or your palm anymore to the body of your guitar. If you are ok with this change you can definitely use a SteadyGroover.

Will a SteadyGroover help me for strumming ?

If you are used to strumming while anchoring a finger or your palm to the body of your guitar it will help you.
If you strum “sweeping” the string with a movement of your whole arm a SteadyGroover is not usefull.

Please note that you can still strum “sweeping” without inconvenience with a SteadyGroover. In that case you may want a SteadyGroover if you also use other techniques like finger style or picking from time to time.
